Welcome to Sabai@Kan Resort Kanchanaburi
In the past, it was wang wiekaram temple that Luang Pho Uttama and migrating Karen and Mon people collaborated in the construction in 1953. Later in 1984, the construction of Khao Laem Dam caused flood in Amphoe Sangkhla Buri including this temple. A new temple was then removed to be on top a hill while the old temple has been submerged over years. During the dry season in March-April where water recedes, the temple is clearly visible and can be visited by boat. When the water tides, only the temple top is visible. Thus, the place becomes another of Thailand’s UNSEEN named Muang Badan (City of the nether world)
