ด่านเจดย์สามองค์ตั้งอยู่ที่ตำบลหนองลู เป็นเขตสิ้นสุดซึ่งเคยเป็นช่องทางเดินทัพที่สำคัญในการทำสงครามไทย-พม่า ในอดีตเดิมเรียกกันว่า “หินสามกอง” เนื่องจากบ้านผ่านมาบริเวณนี้ก็จะนำหอนมากองไว้เพื่อสักการเป็นสิริมงคลในการเดินทาง นานวันกองหินก็มีขนาดใหญ่ขึ้น จนต่อมาในปี 2472 พระศรีสุวรรณคีรี เจ้าเมืองสังขละบุรีได้นำชาวบ้านมาก่อสร้างเจดีย์จากหินกองใหญ่ซึ่งเป็นเจดีย์สามองค์ในปัจจุบัน เป็นเขตที่สามารถผ่านข้ามแดนเพื่อไปชมตลากพญาตองซูในพม่า
